The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) states that falls are the major cause of home injury, and studies suggest that a considerable amount of all falls are due to environmental factors. It's very important to identify and correct any safety issues. However, preventing falls must be a major focus to assure a safe environment.
